My time at YWAM Pachuca was a real blessing. The heart of those who are on staff at the base are set on the people of Mexico. It is easy to catch their love and compassion for the city around them. During my time there I was blessed by their open friendliness and hospitality. I came with a desire to serve them and be a blessing. I worked at the base doing many different odd jobs from tiling bathrooms to cooking dinner. Whatever they needed was what I wanted to do. Little did I know that as I gave my time and energy to them as a blessing, they would in turn be a blessing to me.
As a volunteer I learned how it can be a joy to be a servant and how when you bless someone they end up being a blessing to you. I know that God has great plans for the YWAM Pachuca base. It may only be the beginning but I know that this base is going to explode in God's awesome presence and power!
